Di’s WoW (and ATC) for August 9

“Vision is the art of seeing what is invisible to others.”~Jonathan Swift, Irish writer and satirist

Art. It means so many different things. Painting. Sculpture. Writing. It’s also training Shelties. Listening…and hearing.

My friend had never heard of Artist Trading Cards before, but as an artist, she was intrigued. Mini masterpieces, I told her. Baseball-sized cards that can be drawn, painted, collaged, sewn or anything else imaginable. She may just receive one in the mail someday. Soon.

There is a local ATC group that meets every second Wednesday. We trade cards and learn a technique. Tomorrow I am leading the group in a mini-Zentangle lesson. I felt it appropriate that my cards be tangled and they be presented on Zentangle’s delicious new ATC tiles. I’ve been experimenting with black tiles lately to get more comfortable with them. Here’s a sampling of my cards created in the theme of Eggs.

Wish me luck on my lesson!

Diane, I love your images. The designs really pop off the paper. You certainly made some mini-masterpieces. Have fun at the group and spreading the vision of Zentangle.
