Zentangle Unchained

“I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination.”~Albert Einstein, German scientist

That’s just what this week’s Diva Zentangle Challenge #153 is all about. It’s the first Monday of the month, so it’s UMT time.

JJ squeezed between two tangles

“Use My Tangle” gives others the opportunity to discover a perhaps-unknown tangle created by an average creative Zentangle enthusiast. This tangle comes from Certified Zentangle Teacher, Sadelle Wiltshire. She created Jailed Johnny during her certification workshop.

I remember having the same “homework” from CZT6: look around you for inspiration and attempt to construct a tangle from a design or pattern you see. A chandelier called to me up in Whitinsville, MA; it is a tangle I am still tweaking.

When you look, when you consciously look, oh, the things that you can see.

Love the way you flipped them back and forth!

Thank you! I thought the tangle looked more like hearts and, I don’t know, it just felt right to draw it that flippy way.
