There’s a secret on the Horizon

I’ve always enjoyed poetry, but as a young adult, my poetry overflowed with teenage angst and that college wanna-be-deep-and-introspective-but-it’s-not-working words. Back then, forced. Three page missives were poetry. Using all lower case letters meant you were a deep poet. I strived for a lot, but re-reading old poems, I see it was cliché and forced. There is my frog poem that I adore….


Haiku Horizon #69: secret

I’ve always found tight writing challenging. Complete a one page story. Use 100 words to tell a tale. Heck, write a six-word story. That must be why haiku appeals to me.
